Taking photos of a wedding is an opportunity and a great responsibility at the same time. There are lots of beautiful and unusual scenes to capture, which makes it interesting for the photographer. The events of the wedding day are however also of great emotional value to the bridal couple and to their families. Therefore, the margin for error is minimal.
These photos represent a small selection from a large number of pictures I took on the occasion of the weddings of some friends in 2010 and in 2011. Some of the photos were taken a few days after the wedding ceremony in a photographic studio.

If you’re looking for a book on Wedding Photography (ger.: Hochzeitsfotografie), I recommend you take a look at “Digital Wedding Photography: Capturing Beautiful Memories” by Glen Johnson (ISBN 978-0-471-79017-4).
