Photo of Yellow Canary (Serinus canari)

This photo was taken in the Bird and Monkey Park Eckenhagen (ger.: Affen- und Vogelpark Eckenhagen). It shows an adult male Yellow Canary (a passerine bird in the family of Finches native to vast areas of southern Africa) sitting on a stone brick.
The Canon 70-200mm f/4L lens gives a nice bokeh even with an aperture of f/8 at a focal distance of 200mm. I increased the blur of the background further and lowered it’s color saturation during digital post processing to make the small yellow bird stand out.
